Trip to Cancale and Pointe du Grouin

The bus to Cancale will leave Rennes on Wednesday, after lunch at 1h30 pm. We will arrive in Cancale a bit before 2h30pm. For the return, we will leave Cancale around 6.30pm.

At arrival at and departure from Cancale, the bus will make 2 stops: one in the center of Cancale (Port de la Houle), the other one at Pointe du Grouin (North coast, see the map below).

A few suggestions of things to do in Cancale:

A very nice walk is to reach the Pointe du Grouin starting from the center of Cancale and following the coast (around 2h). You can not get lost, just follow the nearest to the sea going North !

          

For those who don't like walking too much and who prefer to enjoy the beaches, another possibility is to stop at Pointe du Grouin with the bus, and then join the beaches nearby (Plage de Port Mer 15-20min, Plage de Saussaye 20-30min, Plage du Verger 30-45min).

        

          

          

If the weather is too rainy or if you are allergic to physical activity (!), you can have just a quick walk on Port de la Houle and enjoys local oysters and/or drinks.
